I experienced a historical and modern tour in a single day by visiting two of the most impressive spots in the province of Colón: Fort San Lorenzo, a World Heritage Site, and the imposing Agua Clara Locks, part of the Panama Canal expansion.

First we explored Fort San Lorenzo, a 17th-century Spanish fortress with incredible views of the Chagres River and the Caribbean Sea.

Then we visited the Agua Clara Visitor Center, where you can watch ships crossing the expanded Canal and learn about how it works.
